Early Learners 1 **limited number of potty training spaces available
** Children in this class have a birthday that falls between September 2, 2014- September 1, 2015 (must be two at the time of enrollment) and or September 2, 2013 – September 1, 2014 (if they are not potty trained). Since our Preschool program requires all students to be fully potty trained, any child who is in Early Learners 1 and not potty trained will not be eligible for Preschool and age out of Early Learners 1. Unfortunately this would mean your child will have to be dis enrolled.
At this stage children are now free to roam around their world and actively explore their environment. They are more aware of themselves and their surroundings and start to show greater independence. Toddler language development dramatically increases which leads towards them learning names of objects, the ability to ask for things and test their boundaries.

Preschoolers are like sponges- they soak up knowledge. Our Preschool program encourages growth and learning with days filled with active and fun activities. Social, verbal, cognitive and physical skills are built through activities that engage children- counting straws for milk, identifying the first letter of each child's name or cooperating to assemble a puzzle. It is all fun and done with a purpose. Our teachers plan activities for your child to help them meet their learning goals. Pre-Kindergarten is an exciting step for children and parents alike. As a natural progression at Planet Preschool, much of what we have been doing has been leading up to this. Teachers plan lesson plans to deepen the understanding of basic academic concepts through exploration, investigation and play. While we focus on math, science, language and social studies, we will make sure it is presented with a big dose of fun. At this age children begin to develop an increasing interest for learning. With the help of our teachers, children expand their knowledge and interest about the world, which widens their experiences and prepares them for more advanced learning. Independent work is a big part of the Kindergarten program. Students will be able to move freely throughout different stations. Along with mastering skills from Pre-K, Social and Cultural Studies are introduced as part of everyday life as well as emphasis of being a good citizen in our community and a positive role model.
